How is it different from the magnetic GAN 356 M?
The RS is non-magnetic and cheaper. The M adds magnets that snap the layers into place for a more stable feel at speed. Want magnets? Get the M — we stock it.

Good first serious cube?
If you can solve and want something smooth at a fair price, yes. Still learning? A 15–20 SAR cube is enough for now.
