What sets it apart

• Core magnets. Beyond the usual corner magnets, there are magnets in the core itself — faces settle into place instead of drifting, which cuts errors at speed.
• 11 compression settings. Not two or three. You can walk it one step at a time until it feels right.
• 55.5mm. Slightly smaller than the traditional 56mm, which suits smaller hands and one-handed solving.

Questions people ask

Is it better than the Tornado V3M?
Not better — different, and from the same company. The Tornado is a proven competition cube with years of trust behind it. The XT3 is newer and adds core magnets and 11 compression settings. People who've used both choose on feel, not specs. Honestly: we can't tell you which is faster, because at this level the difference is your hands.

Flagship or Pioneer?
This is the Flagship — spring-based. The Pioneer uses MagLev instead of springs and adds a glossy UV coating at slightly more weight. Both are excellent; it's taste, not tier.

Is it magnetic out of the box?
Yes, ready to solve. No magnets to install.

Does it need lube?
Not out of the box. After about a month of daily use, two drops of BARQ brings the speed back.
